At The Care Springs, we provide person-centered services that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in pursuing their goals, increasing independence, building meaningful relationships, and participating in their communities.

  • Behavioral Supports

    Individualized behavioral services that may include assessment, development of behavior support strategies, counseling, consultation, and training to help individuals build and maintain positive interactions and achieve meaningful outcomes.

  • Career Planning

    Person-centered support that helps individuals explore their interests, strengths, preferences, and employment goals and develop a plan toward competitive employment in the community.

  • Cognitive Rehabilitation

    Therapeutic services designed to help individuals with an acquired, non-degenerative or traumatic brain injury improve or restore cognitive functioning and develop strategies that support greater independence.

  • Community Based Supports

    Individualized support that helps individuals develop and strengthen skills needed for greater independence at home and in the community, including daily living, social, communication, and community participation skills.

  • Community Inclusion Services

    Support provided in the community that helps individuals participate in educational, enrichment, and recreational activities while building relationships and becoming more meaningfully included in community life.

  • Natural Supports Training

    Training and guidance for family members, friends, neighbors, and others who provide unpaid support to an individual, helping them better understand and meet the individual's support needs.

  • Occupational Therapy

    Therapeutic services provided by qualified professionals to help individuals develop or maintain skills that support everyday functioning, participation, and greater independence.

  • Personal Emergency Response System (PERS)

    An electronic emergency response system that enables individuals to call for help when needed, providing an added level of safety and independence at home and in the community.

  • Physical Therapy

    Therapeutic services provided by qualified professionals to support physical functioning, mobility, and greater independence based on the individual's assessed needs and goals.

  • Prevocational Training

    Learning and work experiences that help individuals develop general workplace skills and behaviors in preparation for competitive, integrated employment in the community.

  • Respite

    Short-term support for individuals who require assistance with daily care, providing continuity of support while offering temporary relief to family members or other unpaid caregivers.

  • Speech, Language, and Hearing Therapy

    Therapeutic services provided by qualified professionals to address communication, speech, language, and hearing needs and support greater functioning and independence.

  • Supported Employment – Individual

    Individualized employment support that helps individuals obtain and maintain competitive or customized employment in an integrated workplace. Support may include job development, job coaching, workplace training, and other assistance needed for employment success.

  • Supported Employment – Small Group

    Employment support provided to small groups of individuals working in integrated community settings, with services such as on-site training, job development, and other assistance that supports successful employment.
